CHP Officer Ornelas passed away yesterday, December 2, 2020 as a result of a vehicle collision last week. He was 27 years old and had been a member of the Department for four years.  

Our thoughts and prayers are with our brothers and sisters of the CHP and the family of Officer Ornelas.
